All of characters in Totoro are great but the most touching are susuwatari!!! Small spirits of abandoned houses. They make a squeaky murmuring sound when excited💕 💕 💕. They also later reappeared in Spirited Away movie as workers in Kamaji’s boiler room. Susuwatari identified as “black soots” in early translations, but my favorite translation is “dust bunnies”.
For tomorrow I’m thinking about Mei’s block))) It is the 254th day of my #365daysquiltscraps challenge))) 💕 only 111days left and I’m afraid it’s not enough for all my plans)))) 💕Â
