I’m thrilled to share my latest project with you—a special creation for the first 2023 Benartex Ambassadors group challenge. The task was to design a unique tote bag featuring the Benartex logo, and I couldn’t wait to dive into this exciting project!
For this tote, I had the absolute pleasure of working with the gorgeous Chalk Garden and Chalk Texture fabric collections by Cherry Guidry. These fabrics are a dream to work with, offering a perfect balance of charm and versatility. 🌸
My design is an easy, fun, and functional zipped tote bag, complete with curved corners for a polished look and leather handles for durability and style. The Benartex logo adds a sophisticated touch, while the playful cat characters bring in a bit of whimsy—because who doesn’t love a bag that’s both stylish and full of personality?
This project was such a joy to create, and I hope it inspires you to embark on your own quilting adventures. Remember, quilting is about combining creativity with practicality, and this tote bag is proof that you can have both!
